Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Analyst to lead the testing efforts for our web applications developed using .NET and SQL technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing test strategies, creating test cases, executing tests, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software. This role involves working closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver robust and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for web applications.
• Define testing objectives, scope, and criteria for success based on project requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed test cases, scripts, and scenarios based on functional and technical specifications.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to validate application functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Ensure thorough testing of both front-end and back-end components, including APIs and SQL databases.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues in bug-tracking systems (Azure DevOps).
• Work closely with development teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is embedded in every phase of the SDLC.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, sharing best practices and knowledge.
• Create detailed test reports, including test coverage, results, and defect trends.
• Maintain and update testing documentation, including test plans, procedures, and user guides.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of testing web applications built on .NET technologies (e.g., ASP.NET, .NET Core).
• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for database validation.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, Apache JMeter).
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying test failures and issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Postman, or JMeter will be a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL for writing queries, validating test data, and troubleshooting database-related issues.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing setups will be a plus.
• Experience working in travel and transportation domain will be a plus.
